The Dahua BP3EW-4G IP camera captures its surroundings in a high resolution of 2304×1296px with a horizontal viewing angle of 81°. The device uses colour night vision with a range of up to 20m and has built-in LED spotlights for a clear picture, even in the dark. The integrated PIR sensor, along with artificial intelligence, recognises people and vehicles, reducing false alarms. It is powered by a built-in 36Wh battery, which is supplemented by an 8W monocrystalline solar panel for energy self-sufficiency. Wall installation is completely wireless, with no need for mains cables.

Sharp Picture and Optics
The 1/2.9" CMOS sensor records 3Mpx video at a rate of 15 frames per second. A fixed lens with a 3.6mm focal length and F1.0 aperture captures a wide field of view with a horizontal angle of 81°, a vertical angle of 44°, and a screen size angle of 95°. Modern H.265 video compression significantly reduces the capacity requirements of storage media and saves transmission bandwidth. The data flow ranges from 32kbps to 4,096kbps depending on the complexity of the scene.
Colour Night Vision
The night mode provides a full-colour view of details, even in complete darkness. The camera uses four built-in warm-light LED spotlights with a range of up to 20m. This system actively illuminates the monitored area upon detection of motion. Thanks to the high F1.0 aperture of the lens, the sensor can process residual ambient light without immediately triggering the additional lighting.
Smart Detection and Alarm Functions
Advanced artificial intelligence algorithms perform accurate recognition of people and vehicles in the field of view. The Motion Detection 2.0 function offers the setup of up to 4 independent rectangular monitoring zones. When the defined area is breached, the system immediately triggers a light and sound alarm, which warns unauthorised visitors on the spot. Mobile notifications sent to the DMSS app immediately inform the user of every recorded event.
Two-Way Audio and Communication
An integrated high-sensitivity microphone and a built-in speaker provide clear two-way audio transmission. Users can communicate with people in front of the camera in real-time via the mobile app. The audio component supports G.711a and PCM compression formats to maintain optimal voice clarity. The speaker also serves to reproduce a loud siren in the event of an alarm being triggered by the detection of an intruder.
Data Storage, Rotation and Solar Power
Local storage supports MicroSD memory cards up to 512GB to store a large number of video files. The motorised drive offers rotation in a horizontal range of 0° to 350° and a vertical range of 0° to 90°. The IP66-rated design withstands adverse weather conditions at temperatures from -20°C to 50°C. Energy independence is provided by an 8W solar panel connected to a 36Wh battery.
Connectivity and Application
Wireless connection works via the 4G LTE mobile network with support for European FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE frequency bands. A standard RJ-45 Ethernet port is also available for a wired connection to a local network. Compatibility with third-party recorders is supported by the standardised ONVIF protocol. The device is managed via the DMSS mobile app, which is available for iOS and Android operating systems in Czech, Slovak, and English.
