The Continenta Duracore chopping board is made from Duracore material, which consists of pressed wood-paper fibres. Its non-porous surface is hygienic and very gentle on knife blades. The board can withstand temperatures of up to 180°C, so you can also use it for serving hot food. Maintenance is easy, as the board can be safely washed in the dishwasher.

Duracore material and its properties

The Continenta chopping board is made from pressed wood-paper fibres, known as Duracore. The high-pressure pressing process creates a solid and completely non-porous surface that does not absorb odours or liquids, thus remaining very hygienic. At the same time, the composition is gentle on knife blades and won't dull them, even with frequent use. The material withstands temperatures up to 180°C, extending its use to serving. When you're finished, simply wash the board in the dishwasher.
