Control is simple and intuitive
The Canon RC-6 remote control has a single button to activate the camera. In Bulb mode (B time), the shutter opens with one press and closes with another, without having to hold the button for the entire exposure. When shooting, Canon recommends covering the viewfinder with a rubber eyepiece cover to prevent light from penetrating and affecting exposure.

Video recording
You need to activate remote control support in the camera settings before shooting video. You can then start recording with a single press of the rotary pushbutton and end it with a second press. With its compact size and weight of just 9 grams, the RC-6 fits comfortably in a pocket or bag and is always ready to use thanks to powered by a standard CR2032 lithium button cell battery.
