The bottom layer with a polyurethane (PU) coating prevents liquids from penetrating, protecting the mattress from stains and extending its lifespan. The material is also breathable, which promotes air circulation and helps prevent pressure sores. A key benefit is the ability to wash at up to 95°C, which guarantees the destruction of bacteria. Subsequent tumble drying on a low heat makes maintenance easy.
