Home Connect for convenient remote control of your BOSCH SMS2IVI69E
With the Home Connect app, you can control your BOSCH SMS2IVI69E dishwasher via smartphone and monitor its current status in real time. Select and start a wash programme remotely and keep track of your appliance. Available smart features, including Smart Start, also let you customise the operation to suit your needs and preferences.
Smart Start for smarter scheduling
The Smart Start function on the BOSCH SMS2IVI69E dishwasher helps you select the ideal start time for your wash programme based on your settings via the Home Connect app. Depending on available options, it can take into account the share of renewable energy in the grid or cheaper electricity tariffs. This lets you schedule your appliance's operation to suit your preferences and potentially lower energy costs.
DosageAssist for effective use of detergent tablets
The DosageAssist system in the BOSCH SMS2IVI69E dishwasher promotes even dissolution of your detergent tablet for effective use. The tablet is directed from the dispenser into a special catch tray in the upper basket, where it dissolves at the perfect moment. This ensures a thorough wash while contributing to quieter appliance operation.
Anti-fingerprint surface of the BOSCH SMS2IVI69E dishwasher
A special surface finish on the BOSCH SMS2IVI69E dishwasher reduces the visibility of fingerprints on the exterior of the appliance. As a result, the dishwasher maintains its clean look for longer and daily maintenance is much easier. You will appreciate this practical detail in any kitchen where functionality and clean design go hand in hand.
ActiveWater technology for efficient washing
BOSCH SMS2IVI69E dishwasher uses ActiveWater technology, which optimises water and energy use during the wash cycle. Targeted water distribution, fast circulation and an improved filter system help achieve thoroughly clean dishes. Precise water dosing also prevents unnecessary consumption and reduces the energy required for heating.
Practical layout of baskets and cutlery in the BOSCH SMS2IVI69E dishwasher
BOSCH SMS2IVI69E dishwasher comes with the Vario cutlery basket, which sits in the bottom basket and offers separate compartments for tidy cutlery storage. The sorting lid helps keep individual pieces separate during the wash. Thanks to the RackMatic system, you can also adjust the upper basket to three different heights, creating more space for tall glasses, pots or larger items of tableware.
65°C Express programme and automatic washing
When you need clean dishes fast, the BOSCH SMS2IVI69E dishwasher offers a 65°C Express programme that washes and dries a full load in approximately 60 minutes. Automatic programmes are also available for easy selection, which adjust the water temperature and rinse duration based on the load size and soil level. You can also use the programme assistant via the Home Connect app. After entering the type of load, soil level and your preferences, it recommends the ideal programme with regard to speed, drying or noise level.
Silence on Demand for a quieter home
The Silence on Demand function lets you temporarily reduce the noise level of your BOSCH SMS2IVI69E dishwasher for up to 30 minutes via the Home Connect app without interrupting its operation. This is ideal when working from home, making phone calls or whenever you want to enjoy a quieter environment. You can activate the function directly in the app as needed.
Your favourite settings at the touch of a button
The Favourite function on the BOSCH SMS2IVI69E dishwasher lets you save your frequently used combinations of wash programmes and additional options. You can then start your custom settings with a single press of a button on the appliance or via the Home Connect app. You can also save supported downloaded programmes, making it easy to customise your dishwashing to your daily habits.
Voice control of the BOSCH SMS2IVI69E dishwasher via Amazon Alexa
