i-DOS doses detergent for you
The BOSCH Serie 8 WGB266A6BY washing machine uses the i-DOS automatic system, which doses detergent and fabric softener according to the current need. The detergent scan function supports even more precise settings. Using the Home Connect app, you can scan the detergent and fabric softener bottles and transfer information about the recommended dosage and water hardness directly to the washing machine. The appliance then adjusts the dosage to the specific conditions, so you don't have to guess the amount manually each time.
Iron Assist helps with creased clothes
Don't want to stand at the ironing board after every wash? With the BOSCH Serie 8 WGB266A6BY washing machine, you'll love the Iron Assist function, which uses steam to treat freshly washed and even previously worn clothes. The special programme takes about 20 minutes and, according to the manufacturer, can reduce creasing by up to 50%. The steam penetrates the fibres and helps to relax them, making clothes feel smoother and subsequent ironing significantly easier.
BOSCH Serie 8 WGB266A6BY washing machine with added steam
In addition to the standalone Iron Assist programme, the BOSCH Serie 8 WGB266A6BY washing machine also offers a steam function that activates at the end of the wash cycle. The steam helps to relax wet textiles and, according to the manufacturer, can reduce creasing by up to 40%. This is a practical choice, especially for shirts, blouses, or other garments that you don't want to spend a long time ironing after washing.
Mini Load, for when you only need to wash one thing
The BOSCH Serie 8 WGB266A6BY washing machine includes the practical Mini Load function, which is designed for small loads of laundry and lets you quickly wash just a single t-shirt or other item of clothing. With a 0.5kg load, this function can reduce energy consumption by up to 40% compared to the same programme without the Mini Load function activated, according to the manufacturer's testing. This is useful when you need to wash a specific item of clothing quickly but don't want to run a full wash cycle for it.
Home Connect brings the washing machine under your phone's control
Home Connect turns a classic washing machine into a connected appliance. Using your smartphone or tablet, you can check the washing status, manage selected functions and adjust settings even remotely. Information about the programme's progress is conveniently available in the app, which you'll appreciate especially in a household where something is always going on during the day.
Ariel Express 30 for a quick wash
When you need to get your laundry washed quickly, it's time for Ariel Express 30. This approximately 30-minute programme combines Bosch technology with effective Ariel detergent and is designed to remove even significant dirt in a short time. On compatible appliances, the function can be downloaded via the Home Connect app, so you can expand your washing machine's capabilities to suit your current needs.
Control the BOSCH Serie 8 WGB266A6BY washing machine with your voice
For even more convenient use, you can link compatible Home Connect functions with the Amazon Alexa voice assistant. You can then easily control the BOSCH Serie 8 WGB266A6BY washing machine with voice commands, without having to find your phone or go to the appliance. The availability of voice control depends on the support for your country and language in the Alexa app.
