FlameSelect – precise flame control without compromise
Getting the temperature just right with gas is often a matter of guesswork. With the FlameSelect system, you can choose from nine precisely defined flame levels, ensuring your pan is always heated exactly as you need it. Whether you're searing meat, reducing a sauce, or simmering a soup, the right heat intensity is always available, delivering consistent results every time you cook.
Dishwasher-safe pan supports – easy everyday maintenance
The cast iron pan supports on this hob have a special coating that allows you to safely put them in the dishwasher. This eliminates the tedious task of scrubbing by hand – after cooking, simply remove the supports, wash them with your dishes, and the BOSCH PRP6A6H40 hob is ready to use again in no time.
Smart Hood Automatic – clever connection with your extractor hood
Enjoy cooking without worrying about whether the extractor is set correctly. The Smart Hood Automatic function automatically adjusts the extractor hood's power to match the hob's settings. Just start cooking, and thanks to the Home Connect link, the extractor regulates the fan speed itself, precisely according to what you're preparing. Clean air in the kitchen is a given, without you having to lift a finger.
Touch control – timer and extractor hood in one place
The modern touch control panel lets you manage the cooking time and extractor hood functions with a single touch. You don't need to reach for the extractor itself or fiddle with its knobs. The touch buttons respond gently and precisely, even if your hands are a little dirty, and the digital display provides a clear overview of all active functions.
Gas safety shut-off – peace of mind while cooking
The built-in gas safety shut-off automatically stops the gas supply whenever the flame unexpectedly goes out, for example, if a pot boils over or there's a draught. This minimises the risk of a gas leak, so you can cook with the confidence that your safety is reliably taken care of.
Illuminated dials – an instant overview of what's on
The control dials are equipped with light indicators that light up when a burner is activated, so you can see at a glance which burner is on and what power level is selected. This significantly increases safety and convenience when cooking, especially if you often prepare multiple dishes at once.
Removable control knobs – quick cleaning with no obstacles
The control knobs can be easily removed, which enables you to precisely clean the entire area around them. No more tricky angles and hard-to-reach places – just lift the knobs, rinse or wipe them, and you're done. The hygiene and aesthetic of your hob are always under control.
Digital display – clear control over power and temperature
The display on the BOSCH PRP6A6H40 hob provides precise information about the selected power level and residual heat. This ensures you are cooking at the right intensity and can safely handle your cookware after you've finished. The display enhances clarity, comfort and operational safety.
Ready for biomethane – cooking with the environment in mind
The BOSCH PRP6A6H40 hob is designed to be compatible not only with standard natural gas but also with biomethane supplied through the existing gas network. This means you can cook with a renewable fuel, reduce your carbon footprint, and still enjoy all the benefits of convenient gas cooking.
