Recommendation:
Place the clip above the hair strand if you want the curl to curl inwards. If you want the hair to curl outwards, place the clip under the hair strand. Curl the hair lengthways to the point where the waves (curls) are to start, taking care not to let the curling iron touch the scalp. Hold the curling iron on the hair for a few seconds depending on its texture and length. Release the strand when the hair is warm to the touch (not hot). For tighter and more flexible curls, curl smaller strands. For looser waves, use larger strands.
