A key feature of the compressor is its 100% duty cycle, meaning it can run continuously without the risk of overheating. The oil-free design also minimises maintenance and delivers clean air free of oil vapour. The VIAIR 485C compressor comes with an armoured hose and a check valve that prevents backflow of air to protect the machine from damage. It also features a thermal overload protector that shuts down the motor if it begins to overheat, restarting automatically once the compressor cools down.
