The compact Tecsun PL-880 world band receiver with a frequency range of 0.1–108MHz allows you to comfortably listen to radio stations from all over the world. The device covers a wide frequency spectrum (FM/MW/LW/SW), including the sideband SSB (LSB and USB) mode, which allows you to receive or transmit only one sideband of a modulated signal. Long-distance (DX) signal reception is facilitated by a three-position sensitivity switch (Hi/Mid/Low). Up to 3,050 frequencies can be stored in the receiver's memory (divided into 25 memory groups), which you can tune automatically or manually using the rotary knob. Comfortable listening to your favourite stations is provided by a high-quality dynamic speaker with adjustable treble and bass, or you can use the included stereo headphones. The Tecsun PL-880 is equipped with a telescopic antenna, and an external antenna can also be connected. The receiver is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery with a capacity of 2000mAh (included) or a USB mains adaptor (5V).

The Tecsun PL-880 Receiver Features an Automatic Tuning Function
One of the advantages of the Tecsun PL-880 world band receiver is the automatic station tuning mode, in which the receiver automatically starts searching for stations in the available waveband (FM, MW, SW, LW). After successfully finding a signal, the search stops and a 5-second broadcast preview begins. If you do not confirm the station during these 5 seconds (by interrupting the scan), the radio automatically moves on to the next available frequency. Stations can also be tuned manually using the rotary dial, or the frequency can be entered directly. You can store up to 3,050 frequencies in the device's memory.
Easy Operation with Buttons and a Display
The Tecsun PL-880 features simple button controls and a clear, backlit LCD display, which shows the time, signal strength, temperature, battery status and other data in addition to the tuned frequency. There is also a sleep timer option to automatically switch off the receiver in the range of 1 to 120 minutes, and an alarm function with a snooze option (1–90 minutes). The keypad can be easily locked for added security.
