The APC Easy-UPS BVX 900VA with Schuko is a line-interactive UPS that protects electronics in homes and small offices. It provides a real power output of 480W and an apparent power of 900VA to power computers, network elements and other sensitive devices. Thanks to its line-interactive topology and integrated AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) function, it effectively stabilises fluctuations in the mains across a wide input voltage range of 140V to 300V. This corrects undervoltage and overvoltage without having to switch to the battery, which extends its service life. During a complete power outage, it keeps devices running at half load for 6.5 minutes. This 480W backup power supply is equipped with two Schuko output sockets that provide both battery backup and surge protection.

The backup power supply operates with line-interactive topology and delivers a stable output with a real power of 480W. Its key component is Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), which actively responds to unstable voltage in the 140–300V range. Instead of immediately switching to the battery, the AVR intelligently increases or decreases the voltage. High operating efficiency reduces energy loss and residual heat generation, reaching 97% at full load and 94.5% at half load. At 50% load (240W), it powers connected devices for 6.5 minutes, giving you enough time to save your work and safely shut down the system. A fixed input cable with a Schuko plug connects to the mains. Two Schuko-type output sockets are ready to power protected appliances, both offering battery backup and surge protection.

The unit contains a maintenance-free lead-acid battery with an expected lifespan of three to five years, which recharges from full depletion in approximately eight hours. In addition to battery backup, this AVR backup power supply also provides reliable surge protection, which protects connected electronics from damage caused by voltage spikes. LED lights and audible alarms clearly indicate the unit's status. Visual indicators show whether it is running on mains or battery power, while audible alerts signal a switch to battery mode and a critically low charge level.
