Sitting for long periods is neither natural nor healthy for the human body, which is why changing positions is the best approach – with the AlzaErgo Table ET2 Essential, featuring position memory, you can quickly switch from sitting to standing throughout the day, whenever you need to. Your body will appreciate it if you occasionally stretch and stand up while working or studying, which will get the blood circulating and increase concentration. A great advantage is the possibility to adjust the height of the table not only when standing, but also when sitting. Everyone can therefore choose the position that suits them best, whether they prefer the board to be higher or lower. In addition, if two people use the table, for example a couple with different heights, each person can easily adjust the table to sit and stand as comfortably as possible. You’ll also find the height adjustment useful when cleaning – by raising the desk, you’ll create enough space to slide the chair, armrests and all, completely under the desk.
Simple operation and memory for up to four positions
You can adjust the AlzaErgo Table ET2 Essential to suit your needs using a simple button control panel, which also features a display showing the current height. There is also memory to store four positions – each has a dedicated button on the control panel. You only need to adjust the height manually once; after that, you can change it with a single press. To save energy, the table automatically switches to standby mode one minute after the last adjustment.
A powerful engine and a smart anti-collision system
A reliable motor, operating at a speed of 25 mm/s and running quietly (just 50 dB), ensures smooth height adjustment within a range of 71–121 cm, so it won’t disturb you even with frequent use. Just press the button on the control panel and the table will automatically adjust to the selected position. There is also an anti-collision system that stops the movement in time if it comes into contact with an obstacle. You can adjust the sensitivity of this system to one of three levels, or switch it off completely. At lower sensitivity settings, more force is required to activate it; conversely, at higher sensitivity settings, less force is needed to activate it.

The sturdy steel frame with two-section rectangular legs ensures stability and a long service life. The AlzaErgo Table ET2 Essential height-adjustable desk can support up to 70 kg when the load is evenly distributed, so it can easily handle everything you’d expect to find on a desk – from monitors and laptops to a printer, document folders and other office accessories. The table is also equipped with adjustable legs built into the table legs. There are two on each side and you will appreciate them when you want to place the table on an uneven surface. Thanks to smart cable management, cables won’t be left lying on the floor, and you won’t have to worry about their length when positioning the desk. This is because an extension lead can be fitted to the system, meaning that devices with shorter cables, such as a monitor or printer, will work without any problems at any desk height.

The AlzaErgo Table ET2 Essential height-adjustable desk is supplied without a tabletop – you can choose the ideal size and colour to suit your needs, and match the desk perfectly to the décor of your office or home office. Thanks to the adjustable table width of 85–129 cm, there is a wide range of options to choose from. We recommend choosing a tabletop that is between 100 and 160 cm wide, between 50 and 80 cm deep, and at least 1.6 cm thick. You then attach the tabletop to the table frame using the screws provided.
