An easily programmable MIDI controller The AKAI LPD8 MKII features eight backlit MPC pads and eight rotary knobs. The pads have RGB backlighting and are sensitive to both velocity and pressure, so you can comfortably program rhythmic and melodic parts. However, you can also use them to send Program Change MIDI information. Add to that 8 knobs to which you can easily assign almost any function in your software. The AKAI LPD8 MKII also has four memory slots for programming and then recalling settings for various software. It includes a licence for the MPC BEATS music software, including instruments and thousands of samples.
