The 34" Acer ED347CKRbmidprzx Silver LCD monitor is equipped with a VA display type. When it comes to the quality/price ratio, VA is placed somewhere in-between the acclaimed IPS type and the more affordable TN. Unlike TN, these displays have richer black tones and better contrast.
34" Acer ED347CKRbmidprzx Silver Display Specifications
The Acer LCD monitor has a 34" screen size with a 3440 × 1440px resolution. Getting a 34" monitor is optimal if you only have space for one monitor on your desk, but still want to have a good overview of your work . Analysts and programmers should probably purchase a big-screen display. The ergonomics are also influenced by the monitor's 21:9 aspect ratio. The monitor thus belongs among the widescreen monitors with a noticeably greater width than height, which are better suited for watching modern TV shows and multimedia in general. Another neat feature of this model is a blue light filter. The filter is there to ensure you get restful and uninterrupted sleep, even if you go to bed straight from your work chair. Blue light with a wavelength of 445 - 500nm delays the release of melatonin (a hormone that regulates our sleeping cycle).
For gamers, response speed is crucial. The exact definition varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, but we can generally define it as the time needed to recolour the pixel. Hardcore PC gamers rarely accept anything more than 5ms. The 34" Acer ED347CKRbmidprzx Silver features a response time of 4ms. You also have to consider the refresh rate, which indicates the number of times the image on the screen can be refreshed per second. The LCD monitor works with a refresh rate of 100Hz, which is better for your eyes and reduces eye fatigue.
