The alpha 8 AI 4K Gen2 processor optimises every frame
The alpha 8 AI 4K Gen2 processor analyses the displayed content and uses artificial intelligence to optimise the image. AI Picture Pro, together with alpha 8 AI Super Upscaling 4K and Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro, adjusts the sharpness, textures, depth, brightness and contrast of individual scenes. It also upscales lower-resolution content to bring it as close as possible to 4K quality. In addition, automatic brightness control adjusts the display to the current lighting conditions.
AI HDR Remastering gives SDR content a new dimension
The AI HDR Remastering feature analyses standard SDR content and automatically adjusts its colours, brightness and contrast to give the image a more pronounced dynamism. Smooth gaming at up to 144Hz VRR
The native 120Hz panel supports a variable refresh rate of up to 144Hz, so fast-paced game scenes remain smooth and clear. AMD FreeSync helps to synchronise the refresh rate with a compatible gaming device, while ALLM automatically activates the low-latency mode. The features are complemented by HGiG, Game Optimizer and the Game Dashboard, where you can conveniently adjust your game settings right in the middle of a game. 4K at 120fps via HDMI and the QMS and QFT features are also supported.
The game portal provides access to games even without a console
Through the webOS system, you can use supported cloud gaming services and launch selected games without a classic console.
