Mini RGB evo for exceptionally accurate and rich colours
The LG 65MRGB9MB9B uses Mini RGB evo technology with RGB Primary Colour Pro, which delivers a wide colour gamut and accurate colour reproduction. The TV achieves certified 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB colour spaces, so it can reproduce a wide range of rich, natural shades suitable for films, photos, sports broadcasts and games. The result is a vibrant image with subtle colour gradients and high colour fidelity. Mini RGB evo uses its own Tandem LED technology, which works with several RGB colour layers to help achieve more accurate and vibrant colour reproduction. Unlike Micro RGB technology, this does not use separate R-chip LEDs or independently controlled individual RGB LED chips. With this solution, LG combines rich colour reproduction with a design intended for premium LCD TVs.
Precision Dimming for deeper contrast
The Alpha 11 AI 4K Gen3 processor works with Precision Dimming technology to intelligently control the individual dimming blocks of the backlight. This allows the TV to more accurately regulate light in different parts of the image, deepening contrast and improving detail rendering in both bright and dark scenes. This gives Mini RGB evo more spatial depth and a cleaner image, even with demanding HDR content.
Alpha 11 AI 4K Gen3 processor with Dual AI Engine
The powerful Alpha 11 AI Processor 4K Gen3 brings the Dual AI Engine technology, known from LG's premium OLED TVs, to the LG 65MRGB9MB9B. The dual AI engines simultaneously optimise sharpness and textures, so the resulting 4K image looks more detailed and natural. At the same time, Alpha 11 AI Super Upscaling 4K enhances lower-quality sources and helps them stand out better on the large 65" screen.
AI HDR Remastering and Dynamic Tone Mapping Ultra
AI HDR Remastering technology automatically analyses the colour, brightness and contrast of SDR content and optimises it for a more vibrant, HDR-like picture. Dynamic Tone Mapping Ultra ensures precise brightness and contrast adjustments and helps to preserve more detail in both light and dark parts of the image. The result is a more balanced display with greater depth and realistic colour reproduction.
True Wireless eliminates signal cables around the TV
One of the biggest advantages of the LG 65MRGB9MB9B is its True Wireless technology. External devices connect to a separate Zero Connect Box, which then wirelessly transmits picture and sound to the TV in up to 4K resolution at 144Hz. Game consoles, set-top boxes, players or other devices do not need to be connected directly to the TV using signal cables.
Zero Connect Box for a cleaner installation
The Zero Connect Box acts as a separate connectivity hub for external devices. This allows you to place it away from the TV itself and reduce the number of cables leading directly to the screen. HDMI, USB and other connectors are available, while picture and sound data are transmitted wirelessly between the box and the TV. However, both the TV and the Zero Connect Box still require their own power supply.
The LG 65MRGB9MB9B is ready for gaming at 144Hz
The TV offers a native 120Hz panel and supports refresh rates of up to 144Hz in VRR mode. AMD FreeSync Premium technology helps to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering, ALLM automatically activates low-latency mode, and HGiG optimises the display of HDR games. The Game Optimizer and Game Dashboard allow you to quickly change important game settings directly while playing. Dolby Vision Gaming is also supported at up to 4K at 120Hz.
Low-latency wireless gaming
True Wireless is also designed for gaming. Zero Connect can transmit video at up to 4K at 144Hz with low latency, so an external gaming device doesn't have to be connected directly to the TV. In conjunction with VRR, AMD FreeSync Premium and a compatible Bluetooth Ultra Low Latency controller, the LG 65MRGB9MB9B offers fast response and smooth visuals even with wireless signal transmission.
Dolby Vision and FILMMAKER MODE for films as the creators intended
The LG 65MRGB9MB9B supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. Dolby Vision allows HDR content to be displayed with impressive contrast, brightness and rich colours, while FILMMAKER MODE helps to preserve the original character of the film image. FILMMAKER MODE with ambient light compensation can adjust the picture to the lighting conditions in the room without unnecessarily altering the creative intent of the filmmakers.
20W sound with Dolby Atmos and a virtual 11.1.2 system
The LG 65MRGB9MB9B features a 20W sound system in a 2.0 configuration. Alpha 11 AI Sound Pro analyses the content being played and creates a virtual 11.1.2 channel surround sound system. Dolby Atmos contributes to a more spatial sound, Clear Voice Pro helps to highlight dialogue and Adaptive Acoustic Tuning adapts the sound to the listening conditions. AI Object Remastering Ultra focuses on individual sound elements and helps to create a more balanced soundstage.
WOW Orchestra and Dolby Atmos FlexConnect
In conjunction with a compatible audio system, WOW Orchestra can be used to synchronise the TV's speakers with an external LG audio device. The model also supports the Dolby Atmos FlexConnect solution, which can optimise surround sound according to the actual placement of compatible wireless speakers in the room. This means it is not necessary to limit the placement of the audio setup to one specific position.
AI Magic Remote and smart AI functions
The AI Magic Remote allows you to control the LG 65MRGB9MB9B using a pointer, scroll wheel or voice commands. The remote offers quick access to the TV's AI functions, while the AI processing itself takes place in the TV. The main smart features include:
- AI Voice ID – recognises the user's voice and provides access to the personalised My Page environment
- Multi AI Search – uses Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot for broader and more relevant results
- AI Concierge – offers personalised recommendations and information based on your interests and viewing content
- AI Chatbot – helps with TV settings and solving some problems
- AI Picture Wizard – creates a picture profile based on your visual preferences
- AI Sound Wizard – allows you to create a personalised sound profile
Multi AI Search with Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot
Multi AI Search allows you to simply say a query and then choose the appropriate AI model. The TV supports Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot and can use multiple AI models to get broader and more relevant results. This allows you to search for information related to the content you are watching and other topics directly on the TV.
LG Gallery+ turns your screen into a canvas
LG Gallery+ offers access to over 5,000 curated works of art and other visual content from partner galleries and institutions. Gallery Mode allows you to display selected works on the screen even when you are not actively watching TV. Auto Brightness Control automatically adjusts the brightness according to the ambient light to make the image pleasantly readable in different conditions. The availability of LG Gallery+ content may vary by region and the service may require a subscription.
Sports broadcasts with smart alerts
AI Genre Selection recognises the type of content being watched and TruMotion adjusts motion smoothing to make fast-paced sports scenes look more natural. Sports Alert allows you to set alerts for match schedules, results and other information about selected teams. AI Concierge can also analyse available statistics and offer an AI prediction of the match outcome.
webOS 26 with the Re: New programme
The webOS 26 operating system offers access to your favourite apps, smart features and personalised content. The Re: New programme allows you to get free system upgrades for up to five years. The number of individual upgrades, length of support, update schedule and available features may vary by model and region. The LG Shield platform protects privacy, data and system integrity.
Multi View, LG Channels and easy content sharing
Multi View allows you to display multiple sources on the screen simultaneously. Google Cast and Apple AirPlay make it easy to wirelessly stream content from compatible devices, and LG Channels brings together selected live and on-demand content. The TV also supports Apple Home and the LG ThinQ platform.
Home Hub as the centre of your smart home
Through the Home Hub, you can use the LG 65MRGB9MB9B as a clear centre for your compatible smart home. The Google Home and LG ThinQ platforms are supported, and compatible devices using the Matter standard can also be connected via ThinQ. This allows you to check and manage the status of selected devices directly from the TV screen.
