55" STRONG SRT55UH7773

The STRONG SRT55UH7773 TV uses a 55" LED panel with 4K Ultra HD resolution and the Google TV operating system, built on the Android 14 platform for access to a wide range of apps. The screen, with Direct LED backlighting and a 50/60Hz refresh rate, supports the HDR10 and Dolby Vision high dynamic range standards. The sound experience is enhanced by Dolby Atmos technology. A smart remote with an integrated microphone for voice commands via Google Assistant is used to control and search for content. Broadcast reception is provided by a triple DVB-T2/C/S2 tuner.

Picture and Display Technology

The 139cm (55") panel displays content in a detailed 3840×2160 resolution. Dolby Vision support dynamically adjusts the image data for each scene individually, optimising contrast and colour rendition throughout the entire film. The panel has a brightness of 250 nits and an 8-bit colour depth, with a contrast ratio of 1200:1. Direct LED backlighting technology distributes brightness evenly across the entire screen, reducing the occurrence of brighter spots. The panel's 8ms response time contributes to the smooth display of fast-paced action scenes or sports broadcasts without significant blurring. Wide viewing angles of 178 degrees maintain consistent colour rendition even when viewed from the side, so the picture remains legible for multiple viewers in the room.

Sound

The audio component is handled by two integrated speakers with a total output of 20W. The TV processes the Dolby Atmos surround sound format, which adds a height dimension to the soundscape and surrounds the viewer with sound from all directions. This technology creates the impression of sound moving around the listener. The user has several preset sound modes available, such as Film, Music, Sport or News, to customise the listening experience. For those who prefer manual calibration, a user mode is available for detailed adjustments of both picture and sound parameters.

Smart Features

The Google TV operating system, built on the Android 14 platform, unifies content from various streaming services on one clear home screen, making it easy to discover films and series without having to switch between apps. Access to the Google Play store opens up a world of apps for entertainment, news and gaming. Supported global services include Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ and Apple TV. The TV also supports cloud gaming, which makes gaming titles accessible via the internet without the need for a console – just install the app and connect a compatible controller.

Interface

Included is the Google Assistant voice assistant, activated by a microphone in the smart remote, which is used to search for content, launch apps or control your smart home. The remote control with a microphone allows for simple voice command input in both Czech and Slovak. The assistant works with other devices, so you can control things like lighting or a thermostat with your voice. The TV also offers practical features for everyday use, such as an Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) with an overview of broadcasts for several days ahead, parental controls to restrict inappropriate content, or the option to create a list of favourite channels for quick access.

Connectivity

For connecting external devices, there are four HDMI version 1.4 ports. One of the ports supports ARC for transferring audio to a soundbar with a single cable, and all four support CEC for unified device control. There are also two USB 2.0 ports for multimedia playback, a CI+ slot, and a digital optical output for audio systems. An analogue AV input is provided for older devices. The TV connects to the internet via a LAN port or wirelessly using Wi-Fi 5. Wireless connectivity also includes Bluetooth. For screen mirroring, there is a built-in Chromecast and Miracast support, which make it easy to share on the big screen.

Broadcast

The TV supports HbbTV broadcast technology in version 2.0.1. This feature extends television broadcasting with interactive content over the internet. Pressing the red button on the remote gives you access to online content. This way, you receive additional content that is not part of the regular signal. The integrated triple DVB-T2/C/S2 tuner allows you to receive terrestrial, cable and satellite signals without a set-top box. Support for the HEVC (H.265) codec is important for receiving the terrestrial broadcasting standard.

Design, Dimensions and Mounting

The TV, in a classic black finish, is supported by a pair of side feet. The distance between the feet is 1155mm. The dimensions with the stand are 1225.6 × 766.3 × 264.4mm and the weight is 9.8kg. For wall mounting, it is compatible with the VESA 200×200mm standard. After removing the stand, the depth of the TV is reduced to 67.8mm, making it easier to install close to the wall. In the box, you will find the TV itself, as well as all the accessories needed to get it up and running. The package includes a stable stand consisting of two feet, a set of four screws to secure them, and a power cable. A smart remote control is also included.

Energy Efficiency and Consumption

A consumption of 64kWh per 1,000 hours of operation in standard SDR mode places the TV in energy class E. The same consumption value and energy class apply when watching content in HDR mode. Typical power consumption during operation is around 84W. In standby mode, power consumption is reduced to 0.5W. The maximum power consumption at the highest brightness and load is 150W, with the TV operating on an AC voltage of 100–240V.
