43" Sharp 43HP5265E

The Sharp 43HP5265E TV uses a 43" QLED panel with 4K Ultra HD resolution and the Google TV operating system. This system unifies content from various streaming services into a single clear interface, eliminating the need to switch between individual applications. Personalised recommendations and voice search via Google Assistant make navigating the range of films and series easier. The display supports dynamic HDR formats Dolby Vision and HLG for a detailed picture in both dark and light scenes. The sound system supports Dolby Atmos technology, which gives the audio a spatial dimension. The integrated Chromecast is used for easy sharing of content from mobile devices directly to the screen.

Picture Features

The display is based on a QLED panel with a screen size of 109cm (43") and a native 4K Ultra HD resolution (3,840 × 2,160). The screen operates with a 50/60Hz refresh rate, and Smooth Motion technology adds frames for smoother display of fast-paced scenes. The picture processor upscales lower-resolution content to a detailed 4K format. The quantum dot technology used expands the colour spectrum and contributes to a more vivid reproduction of shades. The TV processes high dynamic range content in HDR10 and HLG formats. In addition, Dolby Vision support adjusts the brightness and contrast for each scene individually based on dynamic metadata, thereby refining the display of detail in both dark and light parts of the picture.

Surround Sound

The integrated speakers provide a total output of 20W. The device decodes the Dolby Atmos surround sound format, which creates the impression that the sound is surrounding the listener from all directions, including from above. The moving audio technology creates an immersive cinematic experience and draws you into the action, without requiring the installation of a complex external speaker system. The TV also supports Dolby Digital AC4, Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Digital standards. An HDMI port with eARC function is available for connecting external sound systems, such as a soundbar or home cinema, which ensures the transmission of uncompressed audio tracks.

Google TV Smart Interface

The Google TV operating system organises films and series from your subscribed services onto a single home screen, making it easy to discover more content. The system analyses your habits and prepares personalised recommendations across thousands of available applications, including Netflix, YouTube, HBO Max, Apple TV and Disney+. Voice control via Google Assistant speeds up searching and can also be used to control smart home elements. Using the integrated Chromecast function, you can wirelessly stream content from your phone, tablet or laptop directly to the TV screen. The HbbTV function complements television broadcasts with interactive content from television station archives.

Connectivity Options

The TV offers a wide range of options for connecting external devices. There are four HDMI 2.1 standard ports, which are used to connect game consoles, soundbars or Blu-ray players with high-quality signal transmission. Furthermore, two USB ports are available for playing multimedia files from external drives. Wireless connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi for internet access and Bluetooth for pairing with headphones or other wireless peripherals. A LAN port is used for a wired connection to the network. Sound can also be output via a digital optical output or a headphone jack, and there is also a CI+ slot for decoding cards for paid television services.

Frameless Design and Operational Data

The TV's construction focuses on a minimalist look with a thin bezel that allows the picture itself to stand out and does not distract when watching. The TV supports the VESA 300 × 300mm standard for wall mounting. The device falls into energy class G for both SDR and HDR content. Consumption in normal mode is 52 kWh per 1,000 hours, while in HDR mode it rises to 100 kWh for the same period. In standby mode, consumption is reduced to 0.5W. The dimensions of the TV with the stand are 957 × 619 × 230mm, and without the stand they are 957 × 562 × 82mm.
